14. Join a Carpool

Let’s face it, most of us use our cars to get to and from work. Now, wouldn’t it be great if you could reduce your expenses without giving up on your car completely? You don’t have to sell it to save money, you could just join a carpool. Driving to and from work with friends and coworkers is fun and could even help strengthen your friendship!

In fact, you could save as much as $200 on gas, not to mention the amount of time you’ll cut down on your commute thanks to HOV lanes!
