1. Adjust W-4 Exemptions

Most Americans get really excited when they receive their tax refunds and we have to agree, it does feel nice to get a chunk of money back. But your day to day life will become a lot easier if you adjust your W-4 expenses instead.

That money that you’re getting back? It’s because you’re having too much taken out each payday. By taking a few minutes to adjust your W-4 you can ensure that you’ll have a better, steadier flow of money throughout the year.

Furthermore, you’ll avoid spending your tax refund on a big-ticket item which should help you save even more money.
