22. Only Buy Things With Cash or Debit

Unless you have a credit card that offers cashback, which we’ve covered earlier, try to buy things with cash or debit only.

Credit cards can often make us spend more money than we realize which could lead to debt that’ll be difficult to shake off. Furthermore, you’ll be more mindful of your spending habits if you spend cash or debit instead. You’ll think twice about buying name-brands or subscribing to a new service. You’ll hold off on buying a large latte for the third time this week (and it’s only TUESDAY!).

In the end, you’ll have an easier time-saving money without making major adjustments to your lifestyle.
