15. Use Coupons and Online Promo Codes

A lot of Americans don’t take advantage of coupons because they think you still have to sit down and cut them out for hours on end to make shopping with them worth it. But in today’s day and age, you can skip all the clipping and go straight to saving.

Online coupons and promo codes are not hard to come by. In fact, the opposite is true. It’ll be easier for you to find one right now than to avoid them entirely. Here’s a hint, just log onto your email and check for any promotional material or visit your favorite retailer’s website. We guarantee you’ll spot them!

So why not take advantage of them? You can add discounts to your basket or cut down on shipping fees if you order online. In brick-and-mortar stores, you’ll have to show the cashier a virtual coupon on your phone at most!
