19. Pack Your Own Lunch

One of the biggest expenses people can’t seem to go without is buying lunch. If you pay an average of $10 every time you’re at work then you’re looking at $200 a month.

We understand that there are some days where you simply can’t go without going out on a lunch break with your colleagues but don’t make a habit out of it. Preparing your own meal at home the night before and packing it is so much more cost-effective. The easiest way to get into this is to cook extra dinner every evening. Voilà, take the leftovers with you at work!
