6 Differing Retirement Goals You Need to Balance Out ASAP

6. Other priorities

Some seniors might want to help their families out long before they pass away and most people do this by funding their children or grandchildren’s education. Others might want to help other charitable causes.

Whichever the case, your priorities may be different now. Just always keep in mind that your needs should come first. While it’s noble to help someone else get their start in life by helping them avoid debt, you also want to make sure that you’re not running dry.

And let’s be honest, you need to live a little too, so despite having other priorities you might need to keep some money aside for your wants, such as vacations!
