If you’re worried about San Diego’s exorbitant housing prices, worry no longer. You can get the best of both worlds for only $415,000 in Bay Terraces, compared to $685,000 elsewhere in the city. So you don’t have to give up on the proximity to the downtown area.

Bay Terraces has also scored 65 in terms of livability, and seniors over the age of 65 make up 12.4% of the population. This area is also known for its diversity and friendliness. There are also a number of hiking and biking trails for seniors who wish to stay active can take advantage of- preferably with their pooches, since the neighborhood is also dog-friendly.
