Finding a great place to retire is like finding a needle in a haystack, we know. You have so many things to consider, from the cost of living to basic amenities to entertainment value (and more) that’s getting lost in all the details and numbers is a given. That and let’s not forget, one man’s treasure could be another man’s trash. Just because you’d like to live in a big bustling city doesn’t mean everyone else would.

But to make finding your perfect retirement destination easier, we’ve compiled a list. After looking at 18 largest cities in the U.S. comparing livability ratings, costs and percentage of seniors in various neighborhoods, we think there’s something on this list for everyone!
