15 Best Retirement Cities With the Most Seniors

April 8, 2020 · Retirement Life

Mountain Home, Arkansas

Make a home in Mountain Home! It won’t be difficult, with housing costing as little as $136,300 and the cost of living shockingly 22.5% lower than the national average.

But there are plenty of other reasons retirees seem to love this place. First of all, people over the age of 65 make up 31.5% of the 41,355 total population. Mountain Home has also been repeatedly heralded as one of the best fishing towns in America, so for fans of the sport, you couldn’t find a better retirement home if you tried. Not only that but Outdoor Life Magazine has also named Mountain Home as one of the best city for sportsmen and women.

Overall, you shouldn’t pass up an opportunity to live here.
