15 Best Retirement Cities With the Most Seniors

April 8, 2020 · Retirement Life

Pahrump, Nevada

Pahrump might be the ideal destination for seniors who like living in relatively small communities (44,202 people total) with great outdoors opportunities that also prefer being close to a major city. And if you’re going to live close to any major city, why not make it Las Vegas, known for its nightlife which few people regardless of age can resist?

Speaking of activities, here seniors can golf and ride all-terrain vehicles while surrounded by beautiful desert vistas.

Currently, the percentage of people 65 or older is 29.8%. Another reason we think seniors might be attracted to Pahrump is the fact that the cost of living is 9% lower than the national average. Finding a great retirement home will also be easy, as the median home price is around $187,100.
