Security and Access Innovations

Managing who comes in and out of your home should be easy and secure. Traditional locks and peepholes often require rushing to the door, which can lead to tripping. Modern access solutions put you in total control from wherever you are sitting.

4. Smart Video Doorbells

A video doorbell allows you to see, hear, and speak to whoever is on your porch directly through your smartphone or a smart display hub. If a delivery driver drops off a package, or a solicitor knocks, you can interact with them without ever having to get up, walk to the door, or open it to a stranger.

5. Keyless Smart Locks

Fumbling with small metal keys is frustrating, particularly on cold days or if you have arthritis. Smart locks allow you to unlock your door using a keypad code, a fingerprint, or a smartphone app. More importantly, you can assign unique, temporary entry codes to dog walkers, house cleaners, or caregivers. If you experience a medical emergency, you can remotely unlock the door for first responders or family members, preventing them from having to break a window.

6. Automated Garage Door Sensors

It is easy to drive away and wonder if you remembered to close the garage door. Smart garage controllers send a notification to your phone if the door remains open for a specified amount of time. You can tap a button on your screen to close it remotely, securing your home without having to drive back or walk down the stairs to check.
