Top 20 Affordable Cities for Retirees in 2020

February 7, 2020 · Retirement Life

2. Laredo, Texas

You’ll find some of the lowest prices for homemaker services in Laredo, which is probably why so many seniors pick this city for making the most out of their nest egg. But there’s more to this place than just affordability!

Take Washington’s Birthday Celebration, also known as the WBCA, for example. Join over 400,000 attendees for this month-long celebration. It is, after all, the largest annual celebration of its kind in the United States.

Any other time of the year you can count on the Laredo Center for the Arts, which hosts community events for both children and adults. You could also visit its tree galleries: the Goodman Gallery, the Lilia G. Martinez Gallery and the Laredo Art League Gallery.
