12 Best Countries To Live Perfectly Well on Social Security Alone

June 7, 2021 · Retirement Life

Bali

Bali is a top holiday destination, extremely popular for its luxury beach resorts and fun family parks. It is also a popular spot for expats, with places like Canggu at the top of the list.

“Driving into the region of Canggu evokes a country feel. The traffic thins, the crazed pace of the southern tourist areas is left behind and there is a definite change to the urban sprawl. Local homes are dotted among the new villas and boutique hotels that are popping up,” says the International Living Report about the small village.

There are many other places just as carefree and picturesque as Canggu but also larger cities with numerous amenities and affordable options which amount to 1,266 per month for a retired couple.

I did not see the English speaking country of The Philippines on this list.
I believe that the islands of paradise beat most of the countries on this list, hands down.
