8 Things Medicare Does NOT Cover Right Now

Original Medicare or Traditional Medicare, also known as Medicare Part A and Part B, covers a big portion of any medical expense you might have after you turn 65 years old. Part A targets hospital insurance and it helps you pay for inpatient hospital stays, or stays in skilled nursing facilities, hospice care, or surgery.

Part B of Medicare, which targets medical insurance, is advantageous when it comes to paying doctors’ visits, outpatient care, and some medical equipment and supplies. If you didn’t know, you can start signing up for Medicare three months before turning 65.

Everything sounds great up until now, right? Well, you have to know that Medicare Part A and Part B have some significant gaps in your healthcare coverage. Here are some aspects that aren’t covered by Medicare.
