New Hampshire is perfectly suitable for retirees to enjoy their retirement life. One of the main reasons is the lack of personal income tax, which allows seniors to continue working past retirement. The Granite State also managed to land a high score in terms of healthcare options and overall quality of life.

New Hampshire residents, including seniors, enjoy a below-average rate of poverty and the crime rate is low, compared to other states in the country.
