Does Your Employer Want You to Retire? Here Are 15 Ways to Tell!

They Stop Assigning Long-Term Projects

If you’re no longer invited to be a part of long-term projects this might be because the company no longer envisions you in or around their long-term goals.

If you’re unsure, consider the sort of work you’ve been handed lately. Is it short-term and mundane compared to what you’re used to? What does the rest of the team look like and what are they doing?

Add another red flag to this first sign if you’re noticed younger talents coming in lately. If your company is focused on bringing new people then it’s no wonder they’re no longer pushing you towards bigger projects.

Silently assess the situation and make sure you’re actually being sidelined from various projects and that this isn’t simply an issue of bad timing! But keep in mind that employers who are seeking new people with better productivity and efficiency are definitely up to something!
