Your Retirement Becomes a Topic of Conversation

After a certain age, discussions about retirement are inevitable. Yes, even in a working environment. But you should be the one that initiates them, not your employer. One or two questions might not ring any alarm bells, but if you feel they’re exaggerating in their approach, ask yourself why?

Comments, either subtle or not, have no place in a working environment, especially not about such a major change in your life. If your managers keep insisting by bringing up the topic, it could be because they’re trying to remind you that it’s time to go!

You should calmly let them know that you’re not ready to retire yet and as a bonus, bring up your latest work achievement to prove it!
