19. Not Getting Full Employer Matching Contributions

You should be aware that you can benefit from your employer’s matching contributions to save more money for your retirement.
“This is a part of your compensation package and should always be utilized to the fullest extent,” said Ryan Guina, founder of personal finance blogs Cash Money Life and The Military Wallet. He advised people who could not invest more in their 401(k) to adapt their lifestyle in order to get that money from matching contributions.
