19 Successful Ways to Save Money for Retirement

April 2, 2020 · Retirement Life

Take Advantage Of Your Employer Match

You’ll be hardpressed to find a job that offers pensions anymore. Instead, employers will offer to match up contributions to your retirement plan. That means that they’ll essentially give you free money.

Normally, they’ll match 50 cents for every $1 up to a certain percentage. More often than not, that’s 6%. By not taking advantage of this percentage, you’ll be missing out on a whole lot of money- money you could spend doing wonderful things during retirement.

If you have any questions related to this topic, make sure to contact your HR department, they’ll clear the air for you and give you pointers!
