If You Want to Retire Early Cut These 5 Expenses Now!

November 7, 2019 · Saving & Spending

Gas and motor oil

Vehicle upkeep cost Americans around $2,109 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. One way to cut costs is to try and rely on public transport. While not always available or reliable, it could really help you save up some money, so don’t brush it off even if you already own a car.

If you find a gig that relies on your car, there’s also a chance that the company could cover some maintenance costs and in some cases, even parking. If you have that bit of time on the side, try looking for a job in an affiliate industry. That way, if you don’t want to give public transport a chance, at least you’ll offset some of your costs.
