This has probably crossed your mind while reading our previous point. Eating out and grocery shopping, whether we like it or not, sometimes come hand in hand. When you’re too tired or stressed to come up with a meal, nobody’s blaming you for turning to eating out or ordering food instead. 

You should know that on average, American households pay $3,459 on eating out. 

At the end of the day, it’s all about cutting costs so try to plan out your meals. The better the grip you have on your expenses, the easier you’ll be able to cut back. It’s all about reaching your FIRE goals, after all.
