Think about your exit strategy

Retirement communities provide all the benefits in the world but come with all sorts of rules and regulations, some that may not make you all that happy.

Some communities ask for a deposit before becoming a member, which might be the same as the actual price of an apartment. On top of that, should you choose to leave that community, you might not receive all of it back. So, when choosing where to spend your retirement years, evaluate your options as to exit strategies so that you don’t have any unpleasant surprises when you least expect it.
