Preparing for retirement entails a lot of guesswork, whether we like it or not. You have to consider your financial stability, health problems, unexpected expenses, and nobody can tell you for sure what the future will look like when it comes to those things. The best thing you can do is prepare for the worst and expect the best. After all, you want to look forward to this new and exciting chapter of your life. 

It’s probably because retirement is such a huge unknown that we lie to ourselves about it on the daily. Here are just 20 of those lies we still believe about retirement.
