Test the water before you get in

You might have decided to change the environment by selling your house. Also, you have a full understanding of what you want or do not want. You decided to leave behind the city life and move to the rural side, or otherwise.

Whatever you choose, you can test the water first. Book an extended hotel or Airbnb stay in the place you want to move into, and see how you feel. Give yourself the opportunity of being certain about the decision you make, so you won’t have to regret it later.

Try out the neighborhood you want, speak with the locals, get to know how things work there, and see what fits you best.

Finally, make your new home small yet still big…..
