Retirement calculators can not only give you a good insight into your saving habits during your golden years, but they’ve also been proven to work wonders on your savings in general.

According to data collected by Ascensus, people who use retirement calculators are more likely to start saving. In fact, up to 37% of employees have started saving after using such online tools, while another 18% increased their contributions.

So, if you’re ever in need of a boost or a ‘wake up call’, try them out and just watch as your 401(k) plan starts to flourish.
