Collecting Social Security benefits won’t cut you out of accessing the CARE Act, which stands for Coronavirus Aid, relief, and Economic Security. You’re still eligible for the $1,200 stimulus payment, which could prove to be a lifeline.

Many seniors might not even realize that their retirement portfolios are down across the board and they might think that their Social Security will prevent them from getting further aid. But that’s far from the case.

If you’re a beneficiary, it’s not too late to look into how you can get your hands on that extra bit of cash which will undoubtedly help you stay afloat for longer.
