Avoid Using These Passwords At All Costs

Dark web

Although this is not about password choices, it is important to know. Old passwords might leak into the dark web, a part of the Internet not so visible to search engines. In order to avoid that from happening, it’s crucial you make a habit out of changing your passwords on a regular and consistent basis.

Plus, the more sensitive your information is, the more often you should try and change it. Make a habit out of changing all your passwords twice a year, and make sure you note them down every time you change them with an upgraded date. Like this, you won’t confuse the new passwords with the 6-month old ones.

  1. This was very good info. It drives me crazy when a co. Deny a password & I have to start over! I use a Rolodex for passwords. Now I am having trouble finding new cards!
