Significant dates

Another piece of advice we received from Google is to avoid using the birthday of a loved one or an anniversary as a password. The more it makes sense to you, the easier it will be for hackers to figure out. Hackers can easily understand vital information about your preferences and personal life only by quickly researching your online profiles.

Celebrations and online birthday cards posted on Facebook or Twitter are their free ticket to your personal details, so avoid choosing passwords with important dates in your life, even though it might be a lot easier for you to remember them.

  1. This was very good info. It drives me crazy when a co. Deny a password & I have to start over! I use a Rolodex for passwords. Now I am having trouble finding new cards!
