Avoid Using These Passwords At All Costs

Use a password manager

What are password managers? They are services that auto-generate and store strong passwords for you. These passwords are usually kept in an encrypted, centralized location, which you can open with a master password(that’s really important not to lose!).

Many password managers are free to use and come with various features, like syncing new passwords across multiple devices and calculating your password behavior. Basically, password managers are trying to make sure you’re not using the same password in too many locations, which makes a hacker’s job way more difficult. We live in an era where digital information is very important, so automatically, cybernetic security needs to be constantly improved.

  1. This was very good info. It drives me crazy when a co. Deny a password & I have to start over! I use a Rolodex for passwords. Now I am having trouble finding new cards!
