You won’t be able to socialize anymore
We can all agree that working with other people is also a great opportunity for people to interact and socialize. It’s a human need that‘s just as important as eating and sleeping.
Going to work every day and chatting with colleagues over a cup of coffee or during lunch breaks is a great way to stay in the loop, communicate, mingle and maintain or improve your social skills. Many fear that with early retirement, everything related to socialization will go away. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.
The truth is, if you retire earlier, you will have a lot of free time on your hands to visit family and friends and stay connected. Early retirement can also be a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends or make new acquaintances.
