13. San Diego
Are you ready to pay around $700,000 for a house in San Diego? What about the 7.25% sales tax? Well, seniors will have to tackle both these issues during their retirement if they want to settle down here.
While San Diego is the perfect place for those who want a little bit of everything during their golden years, it’s certainly not a good city for those on a budget. The cost of living will start adding up and before you know it, you’ll be looking at your empty coffers wondering where you went wrong.
There are plenty of other places as fascinating and distinct as San Diego, so don’t despair! We know you’ll find an even better place to settle down.
The next place might be the city of lakes, but your funds will quickly sink here…..
