Avoid These 20 Cities If You Want a Worry-Free Retirement

16. Santa Ana, California

As with our previous examples, moving to Santa Ana will cost you an arm and a leg. It’s most certainly a beautiful destination and many seniors claim they’d settle down there if they could but sadly, with the median list price at around $546,221, it’s simply unachievable for most.

If you want to make the most out of your retirement then we advise you to ditch Santa Ana. If you insist on moving here it’s highly likely you’ll be forced to live on a really tight budget in order to stretch your savings as far as possible. Your golden years should be just that, golden… not pewter! Now that you’ve exited the workforce, we think it’s time to really treat yourself.

The next place may be New, but it’s not for the old…..
