We think we can provide more reasons for you to avoid Denver than for you to keep it on your list of possible relocation destinations. Three factors make this city not worth it for retirees.
First of all, it only scored a lot 62 on the livability scale. Second of all, the median list prices of around half a million dollars are simply unattainable for a lot of seniors.
Last but not least, you’ll have to pay state taxes on Social Security. By all accounts, you’ll be watching your money go down the drain, so it’s best to look elsewhere if you want to move.

I can tell you first hand,Don’t move to Calif!!! I lived in Calif most of my life and in a couple months am going to retire and get out of Calif..too expensive,everything is taxed and housing prices are terrible.
