Medicare costs will go up

Compared to 2020, Medicare costs will be higher in the coming year. For example, the standard monthly premium for Medicare Part B will increase to $148.50, from $144.60 in 2020. The rise will also apply to annual deductibles for Medicare Part B, which help beneficiaries with costs related to outpatient hospitals, physicians, certain home health services and other services not included in Part A. The annual deductible will be $203 in 2021, an increase of $5 from $198 in 2020.
