30 Things That You Really Don’t Need as a Retiree

Now, don’t go away throwing all your towels and sheets! Just consider downsizing as the perfect opportunity to downsize your linen closet as well. You can start with hand-embroidered pillowcases that your children, most likely, won’t want anymore.

If you have such hand-made items, guest towels, napkins or table linens you no longer like or use, go to sites such as Prices4Antiques and try to sell to a seamstress or tailor who can incorporate them into wedding, communion, and quinceañera dresses.
