Did you know that in 2020, only half of Americans have calculated how much money they need to save for retirement? Also, did you know that more than a quarter of private industry employees with access to a defined contribution plan, like 401(k) plan, didn’t participate?

Even though the average American spends roughly 20 years in retirement, many citizens haven’t figured it all out. Whose fault is it? Although putting money away for our retirement years is a habit we can all live with, few people do it.
