10 Most Important Retirement Age Milestones You Need to Consider

When you turn 59 ½, you can say goodbye to the 10% early withdrawal penalty on IRA withdrawals. But don’t get too excited yet! Each withdrawal from your traditional IRA will still be subject to federal (and possibly state and local) taxes such as the income tax. On the bright side, you don’t have to make your annual withdrawals from traditional IRAs until after you reach age 72.
