Because federal benefits rarely match local living costs, states created optional supplementation programs. These extra state benefits seniors receive help bridge the gap between basic federal stipends and actual living expenses.
While 44 states and Washington, D.C., provide supplementary cash, six states offer no general supplement. Residents in Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Dakota, Tennessee, and West Virginia receive only the base federal benefit.

All I can say if you make that much just come here in the Philippines and you will hve a better life,good food affordable etc.
