Many retirees are opting to downsize in retirement as a way to save more money and make their lives easier. While for some people this means relocating to a smaller place or a retirement community, for others it’s more of a serious spring cleaning.

If you prioritized downsizing as one of your retirement plans, there are many ways to clear out the unnecessary clutter and add some extra money to your retirement nest egg!     We decided that our crystal and china collections were just taking up space and not being used so we offered to our kids to go ahead and take it and use it! I would rather see them enjoying it now while they are young adults and not wait until we are gone!
