14. Address 401(k)s From Previous Jobs
If you’ve left a job with a previous 401(k) plan, don’t worry, all is not lost. There are many things you could and should do in order to address your previous plan.
For instance, you could roll it into your current one, as that sounds like the most obvious option. Just remember to adjust your investments so that they reflect your current preferences.
However, you might want to look into rolling it into an IRA instead. The choice is up to you and, as mentioned previously, your current HR department should help point you in the right direction.
