When you were growing up TV and movies always predicted that in the future every home would have a sort of robot butler to take care of all your needs, and while voice-activated assistants are not exactly that, they are still an amazing piece of technology.

Sure, you can ask about the daily news or weather, ask it to play your favorite song, but we think it can be useful for seniors as you can set automatic reminders for tasks and events like doctor appointments or reminders to take medication.

In case of an accident, it will allow you to make outbound calls and even receive voice-activated first-aid instructions. It can even control other smart home devices like lights, television, and more, which would be a great help if you are suffering from mobility issues.
