All you need to do is decide on the type of lifestyle you like most and suits you best and make a short list of options.

Search for places that are retiree-friendly and less expensive. For example, Cleveland, Ohio, has been named the least expensive place to retire, with annual expenditures of just $38,148. When it comes to larger cities, Buffalo, New York came in third at $40,625 per year. Among the 50 cheapest places to spend your retirement years, you can also find Florida, Jacksonville, Tampa, Pensacola, Tallahassee, and St. Petersburg. Speaking of which, these are the 12 Best States to Retire in 2021.
