Deciding to retire in a warm, and sunny place isn’t for everyone. Even so, there are many people who would dream of living under a sunnier sky. The good news is, there are lots of attractive options. To make things easier for you, AARP did a little research and found 10 great places where the sun shines brightly throughout the whole year.

In order to make this list, a town had to declare at least 250 days a year that it was either fully or partially cloudless. Plus, these cities have also a distinct cultural identity, because what’s the point in being sunny if there’s nothing to do there? So, here are 10 cities where the sun shines brightly:
