You’re Treated Differently Than Younger Colleagues

As you’re nearing retirement age, it’s time to take a closer look around the office. More specifically, try to look for signs that you are being treated differently than younger employees.

This might be difficult, especially if you’re part of the team where everyone has vastly different jobs. In that case, you should look at the level of involvement your manager has with your coworkers compared to you. Older people shouldn’t be held to a different standard just because they’re older, so watch out for that type of behaviour!
