You’re Given Projects That Don’t Require Strategizing

Strategizing is an important part of any business’ activity. If you’ve been with the company for a while and especially if you’ve taken part in various strategizing meetings then there should be no reason to put you on the sidelines, right?

Employers who think you should retire soon are more likely to stop valuing your opinion. But, instead of letting you go, they’re probably going to direct you towards more day-to-day operations.

If you see a downward curve in your involvement then it’s time to ask yourself if your employer is trying to push you towards retiring. Less brainstorming means more trouble up ahead.
