Talk to Your Manager
This might be an uncomfortable step, but it goes without saying that you should do it. Being open about any issues you may have faced with your boss will help you gauge what their intentions really are.
You should be open and honest about that you’re experienced and ask why. You should also consider having a member of your HR department there with you. This is in order to ensure that the conversation doesn’t go south and that your best interests are explored, not ignored.
