Keep Moving
An important reason for being able to stay active when you’re older is making sure you’re staying active when you’re younger. This means you should treat your body like a temple to be able to reap the benefits later on. Here’s what a centenarian named Ruth had to say about it: “I make myself go out every day, even if it’s only to walk around the block. The key to staying young is to keep moving.”
At age 101, one of the world’s longest-serving physicians and educators feels the same about moving: “To stay healthy always, take the stairs and carry your own stuff. I take two stairs at a time, to get my muscles moving.”
