Saving for your golden years is certainly necessary throughout your career but this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to put some money aside for emergencies. Separately from the retirement funds, that is. This way, you’ll be able to stay away from using your day-to-day funds or long-term investments in case an emergency occurs down the line.
