Revisit your plan

If you make a financial plan today and a life-changing event happens tomorrow then it’s clear you’ll have to revisit that plan, right? True, but you shouldn’t consider doing this in a worst-case scenario only.

There are plenty of little things that can amount to a lot at the end of the day. One by one you might not notice how they’re changing your cash-flow projections but once you look at them as a whole you’ll see why it’s so important to revisit your plan on a regular basis. No, we’re not saying you should do it every few months. Rather, look over your documents every two or three years whether you think it’s necessary or not.
