Speaking of Medicare, in 2020 you’ll be able to deduct $198 from Medicare Part B. The thing is after that, you will owe 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for some of the medical services you use if you do not buy another insurance plan to supplement the traditional Medicare.

Medicare covers certain preventive care services with no out-of-pocket costs but there are also some commonly required medical services that do not have Medicare coverage, such as hearing aid or dental care.
